OneWorld Dental

Our treatments

At OneWorld Dental, we strive to provide the best possible care for our patients. When you join us as a new patient, your journey begins with an intake consultation with one of our experienced dentists. During this consultation, your dental needs and wishes are thoroughly assessed.

Based on the findings from the intake, the dentist will create a treatment plan tailored specifically to your situation. This plan may include various treatments, all carried out by our dedicated team of specialists.

If your treatment plan includes the placement of implants, our dental implantologist will perform the procedure. The implantologist works closely with your dentist to ensure that the implants fit your teeth and aesthetic preferences perfectly.

At OneWorld Dental, personal care and quality are our top priorities, and our team is here to support you every step of the way through your dental treatment.

What can we offer?

Orthodontics with Aligners

Orthodontics with aligners is a modern method for correcting crooked teeth and jaw issues. Instead of traditional metal braces, we use clear, custom-made aligners that gradually move the teeth into the desired position. They are comfortable, convenient, and nearly invisible, making them a popular choice for both adults and teenagers. Aligners can easily be removed during eating and brushing, offering more freedom and better hygiene.

Implants

A dental implant is a replacement for a tooth root, placed into the jawbone during a minor surgical procedure—often under local anaesthesia. Most implants resemble a screw and are made of titanium, zirconium, or a combination of these materials. The implant serves as a strong foundation for an implant-supported crown, bridge, or removable denture.

Dentures

Dentures are used when several teeth are missing. They are custom-made to ensure a good fit and provide both a functional and aesthetic solution. Dentures can be removable for easy cleaning and maintenance, and they require regular check-ups with the dentist.

Surgery

If a tooth or molar is severely damaged or affected, extraction may be the only solution. The removal of a tooth or molar is also known as an extraction. The dentist can perform the procedure themselves or, if necessary, refer you to an oral surgeon.

Periodontology and Dental Cleanings

Periodontology focuses on the treatment of gum problems. It includes conditions such as gingivitis (inflammation of the gums) and periodontitis (a severe inflammation that affects the supporting tissues of the teeth). The goal is to keep the gums healthy, improve oral hygiene, and prevent tooth loss.

Dental cleaning is an essential part of oral care and is performed to remove plaque, tartar, and other buildups that cannot be removed through regular brushing at home. This helps prevent gum inflammation and tooth decay. Regular dental cleanings are important for maintaining a healthy mouth and preventing long-term oral health issues.

Crowns, Bridges, and Veneers

Crowns, bridges, and veneers are commonly used dental treatments for restoring damaged or missing teeth.

A crown is an artificial tooth that is placed over your natural tooth.

A bridge is used to replace one or more missing teeth with artificial teeth that are attached to the adjacent natural teeth.

Veneers are thin shells made of porcelain or composite that are placed on the front surface of the teeth to make aesthetic improvements, such as hiding discoloration or crooked teeth.

Root canal treatments

A root canal treatment is a dental procedure performed to treat infection or damage to the tooth tissue (the dental pulp). During the procedure, the infected or damaged pulp is removed, and the inside of the tooth is cleaned, disinfected, and sealed. This procedure helps preserve the tooth and prevents extraction, while also relieving the pain caused by the infection.

Fillings

If a tooth has decay or breaks, your dentist can restore it with a filling. A tooth can be filled if there is a cavity or if it has broken. Sometimes an existing filling needs to be replaced, for example, if it is cracked. A filling ensures you can chew properly again and helps prevent further (painful) issues.

Teeth Whitening

At OneWorld Dental, we make it easy to brighten your smile with both in-office and at-home whitening options. In the clinic, our professional BlancOne treatments give fast, noticeable results. If you prefer to whiten at home, we offer Philips Zoom! with custom-made trays that you can wear during the day or at night, gradually lightening your teeth by four or more shades in just two weeks. After a dental cleaning or an in-office session, using the at-home trays helps keep your smile bright and radiant for the long term.

Consultations

During a regular check-up, the dentist looks at more than just your teeth. They also examine areas like your tongue, lips, and the inside of your cheeks to spot any abnormalities early. This allows the dentist to intervene if needed or refer you to an oral surgeon for further examination. So even if you wear dentures, it’s important to visit the dentist at least once a year.
