We process your personal data based on:

  • Contractual necessity: for performing your treatment and related administration (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b))
  • Legal obligation: for maintaining medical records in accordance with WGBO (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c))
  • Explicit consent: for receiving marketing and newsletter communications (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a))
  • Health purposes: processing health data necessary for healthcare provision (GDPR Art. 9(2)(h))

5. Disclosure to Third Parties

Your data is only shared with:

  • Software providers managing your medical record
  • Health insurers for billing purposes
  • Other healthcare providers involved in your treatment
  • IT service providers managing our systems

We have data processing agreements with all these parties. Your data is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

  • Medical records: 15 years after the last treatment (WGBO, art. 7:454)
  • Financial records: 7 years (AWR, art. 52:4)
  • Marketing data: until you withdraw consent

10. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), particularly in the United States. We only transfer personal data to parties outside the EEA if appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with the GDPR (Article 46).

For service providers in the United States, we only use parties certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures an adequate level of protection as established by the European Commission.

We use Google Analytics, a service of Google LLC. Google LLC is located in the United States and certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/list).

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that has legal or significant consequences for you.
